Claude Giroux pulls off the gutsiest move in shootout
At the end of today's game between the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets, Claude Giroux wowed the hockey world by dropping the most confident move you could possibly do in the shootout - unleashing a massive clap bomb shit in front of the goalie.
To win the game, Giroux simply unloaded a massive slap shot right at the hash marks, and deposited it perfectly into the top right corner.
Despite not being even close to the playoff picture in Ottawa, Giroux is content seeing out the rebuild in his hometown, and mentoring the young core there. Here he's taught the young guys a valuable lesson: believe in your talents and just let out a clapper every now and then.
