According to reports, the McDavids were looking for a very personal and private wedding, so they implemented a rule of no phones or pictures. Even right now, still no pictures have surfaced.
Only a few photos of the venue from other guests have been posted, but no photos of the actual ceremony, guests, or anything else has been shown.
Honestly, it's very much like Connor McDavid to want a private event for his wedding. He's developed into being more comfortable with media attention, but Oilers fans know that McDavid can be a little awkward when swarmed by media attention. To have a quiet and peaceful night for his wedding is a completely understandable choice, and we'll still surely see photos when the family chooses to release them. It's a lot different from Gretzky's televised wedding in Edmonton back in 1988 though!
While fans are still certainly hoping to see more content from their superstar's Royal Weding', fans are mostly just wishing the best for Connor in his life and future off the ice. Of course too, a lifelong commitment like a marriage would stir thoughts of putting down roots, and McDavid will be eligible to sign a contract extension next summer with the Oilers. Hopefully, the newly wed couple wants to stay in Edmonton.
