Stuart Hyman Is a developer in the Toronto area and has had ties had a long history with the GTHL would take over the team.
Andlauer had previously said that he would commit to keeping the Bulldogs in Brantford but it's clear there is a connection to the potential relocation of the Ottawa Senators farm team the Belleville Senators who may head to Hamilton.
It's been a turbulent past few years for the Senators franchise as the team has continued to remain at the bottom of the standings up until recently and there was also a vigorous sale process after their late owner Eugene Melnyk had passed away which prompted the sale almost $1 billion from Andlauer.
The 32-year-old Hyman has seen a dramatic drop in his production since his breakout year last year where he played 80 games, scoring an incredible 54 goals with 23 assists for 77 points and was a + 36.
This season has been quite a disappointment as he has played 34 games, scoring 13 goals with 9 assists for 22 points and is a + 8. There could be several reasons why he has seen such a drop in his numbers.
It's possible some teams are watching his play and every move which has diminished his effectiveness, and his age may be putting him a bit behind which has caused his drop.
No matter the case, the Oilers hope that Hyman can regain his form in the second half of the year so that he will be ready to take on the Stanley Cup playoffs and help the team make it to another Stanley Cup final.
