Flames forward Kuzmenko has hilarious response when asked if he prefers Alberta or BC
It's not often that players get traded between divisional rivals, but it's happened quite a bit in recent years with players shuffling between Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. Recently, a reporter asked Andre Kuzmenko his thoughts on whether he prefers Calgary or Vancouver weather, and he had an incredible answer.
Kuzmenko simply laughed in response to the question, knowing that if he answered it would come at the expense of one of the cities. Instead, Kuzmenko lightly made fun of the question being snake-like, and then said he didn't understand it. He used his humour and his obviously developing English as the perfect excuses to dodge the question entirely.
For a player who was quickly maligned by the fans and media in Vancouver after struggling in his sophomore season, it's great to see Kuzmenko's spirits lifted by the fresh start in Calgary.
