It's a widely known joke that Americans don't know world geography. Americans themselves don't do much to refute the stereotype, as there are tons of clips online about Americans lacking knowledge of other countries, including Canada. Here's a hilarious clip of Stars fans trying to figure out where Edmonton is on a map of Canada.
It's funny to watch Americans have no clue about American geography, or some of them not even knowing what a province is. It shows how little Americans know about Canada, despite how close the two are. If they did this quiz with Edmonton fans, I'd be surprised if less than half of them knew where Texas was on a map.
It doesn't matter to Oilers fans however, as the Stars still have to come play in Edmonton regardless. Stars fans have some homework to do and the Oilers will give them lots of time because they won't be watching playoff games next round.
The home crowd is going to be absolutely electric as it always is, and hopefully the Oilers can get out on their game and stun the Stars early. This is a huge game for both teams and a win here could be a massive momentum shift for either team.
