While celebrating his 52nd birthday today, Jaromir Jagr arrived back in Pittsburgh to join the Penguins on Sunday night as the team will honour Jagr and retire his number to the rafters.
Just a few hours ago, the Penguins shared that Jagr has arrived in Pittsburgh.
Jagr is still playing professionally with the professional team he owns in the Czech Republic, and will be taking a leave from playing to travel back to Pittsburgh for his birthday and the jersey ceremony.
Jagr played an incredible 1733 career games in the NHL with nine different teams, scoring 766 goals and 1921 points - which is second of all time behind Wayne Gretzky.
