Legendary Vancouver Canucks fans return to the arena

If you've watched any Canucks game around the last time the team was consistently making the playoffs, you might have seen the legendary Green Men. Two fans dressed only in a green morph suit usually would hang out near the penalty box and taunt opposing players. The fans have been gone for years, but tonight, they have returned with great applause.
Tonight, the Canucks are hosting the Boston Bruins for a rematch of their fateful Stanley Cup finals which set the city of Vancouver ablaze. For the big game against Boston, and hopefully for playoff games this year, the Green Men will be back in Rogers Arena.
As the Boston Bruins took their first penalty in the first period, the Canucks actually allowed a moment to reintroduce the Green Men, and lead them down to their place by the penalty box to taunt the Bruins player. It was an absolutely awesome sight.
It's great to see this level of fan engagement in games, even if it's a divisional rival in the Canucks. This kind of atmosphere always makes the games better, both for the players and the fans.
