Most hated player in NHL finally accepts a fight and takes a beating
This season, Nick Cousins has emerged as one of the biggest villains across the NHL. Cousins has been making headlines for throwing dirty hits that have gone unpunished, both because he hasn't been suspended and he always avoids a fight. Tonight against the Washington Capitals, Anthony Mantha decided to got at Cousins, and this time he couldn't get away.
Cousins was barely able to get his gloves off before Mantha started destroying him with some hard right hooks connecting with his face. Mantha was even able to pop off Cousins' helmet before continuing to feed him punches until he collapsed.
Earlier this season at the All-Star Break, a majority of NHLers voted in a poll to rank Cousins as the most punchable face in the league. It seems that feeling really got around, Mantha took it to heart, and went out and destroyed him. That was from the entire league, Nick!
