NHL and Amazon announce new behind the scenes TV series for multiple star players
Plenty of hockey fans have always wanted to see a little more behind-the-scenes and into the players' personalities, and now the NHL is delivering on that. According to Chris Johnston today, the NHL and Amazon will be filming a new TV series that will follow 10-12 NHL stars, and will be released this fall.
It could be something very similar to Amazon's series following the Toronto Maple Leafs during the COVID season called All or Nothing. The show followed aspects of players lives, their interactions in the dressing room and with arena staff, as well as plenty of footage from practices and within team meetings.
This show will obviously function differently and cover multiple teams by following that many star players. The show will likely gravitate towards the bigger personalities and high profile veterans - making players like Leon Draisaitl, William Nylander, David Pastrnak, Alex Ovechkin and much more ideal candidates.
This will certainly be something for hockey fans to look forward to towards the beginning of next season. Knowing they're releasing it then, that means plenty of this season's biggest moments will be involved. It sounds like a great watch!
