Crosby sustained injury on Feb 4th
This news Is apart of an injury that Crosby sustained while playing against the New Jersey Devils back on February 4th.
During the sequence he collided with two New Jersey Devils players including Erik Haula that caused Crosby to grab his right arm and fell straight to the ice in which he was helped off the ice afterwards and not return to the game.
This injury has hockey Canada pondering on what the decision would be if Crosby is unable to go for 4 Nations.
Hockey Canada has major decision to make if Crosby is unable to play
Hockey Canada has remained steadfast on the news that Crosby would play for Four Nations and that he would remain as captain of the team. But if his injury lingers, the organization will need to decide on whether to award another captain if he is unable to play.
Most hockey pundits feel that Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid would be awarded the captaincy if Crosby can't participate.
Many hockey fans will wait and see what will happen as Four Nations is set to begin on Wednesday February 12th and it will stretch through Thursday February 20th.
