It appeared the Canucks had gained their momentum back in the late stages of the third period during last night's game. With the score 3-2, Zadorov was in the offensive zone when Canucks JT Miller took a clear shot which was blocked by Zadorov which bounced away from Stuart Skinner.
Zadorov has had a long history with the Oilers as he spent numerous years with the provincial rivals, the Calgary Flames. During this series, zadorov didn't mince words with the Oilers media as he took a shot at the city of Edmonton stating there's nothing to do but just watch the Oilers.
Zadorov did have good results during his playoffs and was always in a constant battle with Oilers forward Evander Kane. The 29-year-old played thirteen games, scoring four goals with four assists for eight points and will now be seeking a contract extension either with the Canucks or another team as he will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
But in the end, the Oilers had the last laugh as they will be moving on to the Western Conference final to play against the Dallas Stars. Meanwhile, Zadorov along with his teammates will be picking up the pieces of their season and either heading to the golf course or to an island to wait until October to be able to try again.
