Bissonette posted moments ago that the Core Four will be re-assembling tonight, indicating that Matthews is back in the lineup.
Earlier today, Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe was clearly playing mind games with Matthews' health status. Matthews took full participating in morning skate today, but all Leafs wore the same colour jerseys and didn't participate in line rushes. After practice, Keefe officially said that Matthews is undetermined.
Bissonette is actually very plugged into the NHL via his close relationships with players and executives, and he could really be the first to report that Matthews will be in the lineup tonight. The Leafs have battled back to force a game 7 even without their MVP candidate, so obviously having him back in the lineup is a colossal boost to the team.
This game will have a wealth of consequences no matter how it ends, and will surely end in the firing of multiple people on one side. The Bruins are in the brink of blowing the second 3-1 series lead in two years, and the Leafs are winless in the last six game 7s.
