An incredibly rare sight happened in last night's game with the Seattle Kraken visiting the Calgary Flames. It was a tight-checking, physical, and intense game, but at one point in the second period, the hilarious mishap occurred. The Flames tried to clear a puck from their zone and the puck deflected to go all the way up and hit the high-up scoreboard in the Saddledome. The Kraken announcers loved it.

The Kraken announcers were already in awe of a puck actually reaching that height in the Saddledome, calling it an amazing moment even before the best part happened - confetti began falling from the scoreboard onto the ice. Not much was shown in the clip, but the announcers were exclaiming that the confetti was everywhere in the arena. The referees blew the play over quickly once they realized the hazards were landing on the ice. Even Jonathan Huberdeau tried to catch a piece, but missed.

It was an absolutely hilarious sight to see, especially the confetti falling to the ice. The Flames' Saddledome Arena has tons of character, but it's aging now and is in talks to be replaced already. There's plenty of great memories fans will have in the Saddledome, but this will be one of the funniest.
