It seems unlikely that the Edmonton Oilers will win the Stanley Cup this season. Unfortunately, they fell short again, against the Vegas Golden Knights. As teams prepare to depart for home, international competition, or training, they often answer questions from the media. The team itself is focused on winning the cup next season, as McDavid addressed with the media.

However, one reporter caused unnecessary trouble by asking a ridiculous question.

This individual clearly did not think it through and seemed to be trying to stir up controversy. As a member of the press, it's important to ask thoughtful questions instead of ones meant to cause trouble.

«Yeah, I want to win. Everyone wants to win, every year. But that said, I'm 26 years old, I got lots of great years ahead. I'm not worried about time, if that's what you're asking.»

For example, asking about a player's biological clock and whether they will cease to be competitive after turning 32 is inappropriate and irrelevant to the game.

Let's focus on asking meaningful questions that contribute to a productive conversation.
