Earlier today, Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin announced that Daniel and Henrik Sedin will be more involved with coaching duties with the Canucks and in Abbottsford British Columbia.

Many felt that the twins may be involved in the front office or on the bench of the Canucks as they have expressed interest in being with the team after they have been retired for the past several years. Head coach Rick Tochett spoke about the change and stated that one of the twins will be joining them on the road while both will be more involved with the power play.

It's been a tough few weeks for Vancouver fans as they are still reeling from the loss to the Edmonton Oilers in the second round. Tochett spoke about Game 7 and how he felt the game could have been different if their first period would have been much better than it was.

«I wished we had a better first period. That's my big thing in Game 7. I wish we had a better first period,»

«Maybe things would've been different.»

It was certainly a dramatic turn around this season 4 the Canucks after being at the bottom of the standings the year before and showing no signs of change great after bringing Tochett into the organization and Allvin and president of hockey operations Jim Rutherford decided to make major changes to their defence and secondary scoring.

The Canucks have 15 players signed under contract and have $23.7 million in cap space going into the offseason with several prominent players such as Tyler Myers, Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm all meeting new deals it remains to be seen on how the Canucks will be constructed next year.
