Ron McLean has had quite the career as host of Hockey Night in Canada, from the time I was a young boy till our current day. Like most, Coaches Corner was a must watch to hear from Don Cherry and Ron McLean. However, McLean has come under fire after he didn't back Don Cherry after his infamous Poppy comments that got him fired back in November 2019.
McLean was trending on Social media after a interview Saturday night at the NHL All-Star Game in Florida with Commissioner Gary Bettman. Fans would go on Social media and share how they feel towards McLean and none of it good.
Don is loved by most hockey fans, he may be a little to blunt but he stuck by what he said and his opinion regardless if anyone liked it or not and you have to respect that.
