The NHL held the 2023 NHL All-Star game this weekend from the Florida Panthers FLA Live Arena, and despite having some of the biggest names in the game right now, photos online show that the attendance was one of the lowest in history.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman would make sure he got himself on camera after two of the best players in the League Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid would speak out on changes they would like to see regarding shoot outs and playoff format.
Bettman would continue to say that everything is great in hockey and he would say the attendance for the All-Star Game was a sell-out of 19,250.
However, Bettman and the NHL would get exposed from people in attendance showing the attendance was far from a sell out.
To the point where the arena staff asked fans sitting in the upper level to move forward, so the TV broadcast would look more packed..
