When it comes to the whole NHL All-Star weekend, it's become a hot topic as if it should really still take place or not? It's lost the whole feel of awesomeness as it did back in the 90's with Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Mark Messier, and Patrick Roy involved.

Being criticized as an NHL gimmick and cash grab for Garry Bettman. Although both sides have their points, there's actually some that like the All-Star weekend but it appears Minnesota Wild's Kirill Kaprizov isn't one of them.

Kaprizov was picked to represent the Wild during this weekend's NHL All-Star festivities. Whether or not you're a fan of the whole All-Star weekend is totally your decision, but there's many fans and other's including former players who could care less about the whole gimmick.

Well I guess you can add Kaprizov to the list of players that were clearly not interested with the All-Star weekend. After Hockey Insider Mark Lazarus would share on Twitter:

Kirill Kaprizov declined to take part in any individual events Friday night, had no points and was minus -2 in a 6-4 Central Division win.

He's super-excited to be at the All-Star weekend , guys. (sarcasm)
