EX-NHL Goon Publicly Calls out McDavid during interview
Throughout the hockey world, Sean Avery is known for starting trouble and hating John Tortorella.
In spite of keeping an eye on current NHL events, the old-school plug felt it necessary to criticize Edmonton Oilers
Connor McDavid on television.
A message to Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers
McDavid wasn't the only one to suffer from Avery's trash talk; Draisaitl and Nurse were not spared either.
According to Avery, firing Woodcroft as the head coach would not resolve the problem.
In addition to naming Oilers highest-paid players, Avery continued the firing squad.
Connor McDavid received no mercy from Avery during most of his criticism, and his tirade doesn't take into account his contributions to this team.
As for Avery, he would have no idea what it is like to win a cup anyway.
The Connor McDavid of 2023-2024 has two points per game, while Avery has zero in 2023-2024.
