The tumultuous season continues for the Oilers as they face the Tampa Bay Lightning under their new coach, Kris Knoblauch. After securing two consecutive wins under the new regime, the Oilers suffered their first loss, being defeated 6-4 by the Lightning.

Several of the Oilers' stars, including Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, both of whom failed to earn any points, struggled during the game.

Consequently, the Oilers decided that Raphael Lavoie did not make a significant impact to warrant keeping him in the lineup. As a result, they sent him back to Bakersfield to play for the Condors.

The 23-year-old was drafted in 2019 by Edmonton in the second round, 38th overall. Standing at 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 215 pounds, his skill level along with his size are expected to be crucial elements in the Oilers' equation in the next few seasons. He played six games this year and has yet to score any points, holding a -2 rating.

The Oilers are back on the road and are set to face the Florida Panthers on Monday, November 20th. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM Eastern.
