When the NHL claims that certain teams are not favored over others, they have got to be kidding. They have another favorite, as evidenced by the Arizona Coyotes in recent years, but they're not the only ones.

The Toronto Maple Leafs appeared to have the games skewed in their favor during the Global Games in Sweden.

On Twitter, an NHL fan pointed out how the league schedules games, and Gary Bettman, Bill Daly, and the NHL aren't looking good.

A total of four teams played two games in Sweden, including the Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota Wild, Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Toronto Maple Leafs had the advantage of playing two away games, against two teams who played back-to-backs. Their first victim was the Detroit Red Wings, while they will be playing their final game tomorrow.

The "fair" schedule of #NHLGlobalSeries

#GoSensGo: 2 "home" games in Sweden
#MnWild: 2 games, back-to-back
#LGRW: 2 games, b2b
#LeafsForever: 2 away games, not b2b, both against a team playing their b2b (2nd) game

While playing against tired teams, the Leafs will be able to bring in more revenue as well as get the most rest.

The Maple Leafs won their first game in the Global Series against the Detroit Red Wings, so a well-rested Maple Leafs team should win the following game, right?

Gary Bettman is at it again.
