The NHL has issued a statement on Connor McDavid and Wayne Gretzky
Connor McDavid joined a select group by getting four assists in consecutive games. Wayne Gretzky did it three times in 1986-87, and Jari Kurri did it in 1988-89.
After his four assists against the Capitals on Friday, McDavid had a chance to do it again against the Ducks, and he did it with a big 5-point game, including 4 assists. Now, he's part of a short list of Oilers players with this impressive achievement.
