In this day and age in the NHL, it's great to be a fan as you get to see what goes on in the locker room through the power of social media and after the Oilers game seven win both Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl tear into the team with some strong statements.

The sense of accomplishment and relief on the players face was evident through the video and as the accolades were doled out and the players give each other a pat on the back, you could see Mcdavid and Draisaitl still intense with emotion after defeating the Canucks in seven games and wanted their teammates to know where they stand.

»We can be better coming down the stretch. You know that. It's one mistake, but. . . we can break it out.» -Connor McDavid

»It happens too many times, like seriously. Let's f*****g learn from it. Okay?» -Leon Draisaitl

But the job is not done and the Oilers are preparing to face off against the Dallas Stars who had one of the hardest roads into the postseason after facing both the Colorado Avalanche and the Vegas golden Knights who were both Stanley Cup champions over the last two years.

The team can't take them for granted and everyone will need to be on their best game as the stars will not be an easy opponent or match up.

Game One has begun and through one period of play, the game remains scoreless.
