Connor McDavid states Game 6 feels like normal day as Oilers prepare

McDavid reassured reporters that players are preparing themselves like any other day and that there was a calm feeling across the dressing room as this great opportunity stands in front of them.

He also went on to explain how the crowd always gives them energy and that he hopes the team can give them some joy by winning and punching their ticket for the Stanley Cup final for the first time since 2006.

This series has not disappointed anyone as the script continues to be flipped between the stars and the Oilers. Many pundits and fans felt the stars had control of the series But it seems to have slipped out of their hands and the Oilers now have a chance to shut the door.

If successful, this would be the first time the McDavid era Oilers will have made it to the Stanley Cup finals. Granted, time will tell on whether they can achieve this or head to a game seven back in Dallas.
