Last night's Oilers game against the Boston Bruins at home was certainly one of the best games this year. Halfway through the second period, with the Oilers down by two goals, Corey Perry stepped up to drop the gloves and spark the team with a fight against Bruins defenceman Parker Wotherspoon.

The fight became more of a wrestling match, but the 38 year old Perry landed a few quality jabs to the face of Wotherspoon, definitely getting the better of him before he started coming back with some hard punches himself. Perry ended by shoving Wotherspoon into the boards, and the referees stepped in to break it up.

Immediately after Perry's fight, the Oilers were able to turn on the jets and make a comeback in the game. They chipped away and came back from a 4-1 deficit at one point. The Oilers tied the game late, but unfortunately lost on a highlight reel overtime goal by defenceman Charlie McAvoy.

Still, Perry is clearly settling in perfectly to his role on the Oilers. With another goal last night Perry now has three total with the team, and has also fought twice - he's showing that even at 38 years old, Perry is still a player with elite capabilities to score and also get under the opponent's skin.
