Earlier this season, the Edmonton Oilers lost their highly praised AHL goalie coach Sylvain Rodrigue, who wanted to depart the organization to seek an opportunity elsewhere.
Losing Rodrigue may rightfully tick off some Oilers fans who haven't been thrilled with the body of work from current goalie coach Dustin Schwartz. Since he's been with the team in 2014, plenty of goaltenders have come to the Oilers to produce the worst results of their careers. It's been 10 years that he's been with the team now, it seems long past due for a new voice at the position.
