Ken Holland has one of the hardest jobs in the league this season, as the Oilers fight to be perpetual cup contenders. The job of pushing a team from being a threat to being cup winners is always difficult, and Holland's decision in previous years have dwindled the Oilers' prospect pool down a lot. Ken Holland joined Oilers Now to clear the air on the plan for the deadline.

Seems like the Oilers are targeting a scoring winger for the bottom 6 so they can get some more threats for opponents to worry about when the top 6 aren't on the ice. Defense again seems to not be the focus, and they are more concerned with putting the puck in the back of the net. Ken Holland also said that they're willing to give Broberg a shot in the NHL this season, which offers up more questions for the defense core than answers.

With them being ready to call Broberg up, it offers them a cheap option to substitute either one of Kulak or Ceci out of the lineup. Kulak would most likely be the odd man out due to the fact that both are LHD, but Holland could try and bring in a RHD and potentially ship both out. Either way, it seems like Holland knows there aren't many pieces left to move to give the Oilers the best shot at another cup win.
