In this day and age NHL fans will always try to make a playoff song that will catch the eye of the fan base and hopefully drive up the energy. Sometimes, however that's not the case which includes this song that was made by two Edmonton opera singers from Edmonton Opera, one happening to be their anthem singer Robert Clarke and soprano Helen Hassinger.

The song was chosen as it was a favourite of Oilers superfan Joey Moss and the late Ben Stelter. Fans who happened to listen had many tough comments to this song.

As always, some fans have the superstitions that this song will change the balance of the series in the Kings favor. Some other Canadian fanbases like the Flames, Canucks, and even the Oilers in past years have made these fan-songs, and some believe it becomes a curse on the team.

After the Oilers released their newest playoff fan song, the Kings tied the series at one heading back to Los Angeles tomorrow night. We're not saying the superstition is true, but we'll have to wait and see.
