Oilers coach Knoblauch will stick with the winning lineup from last game, keeping Kasperi Kapanen and Nugent-Hopkins on the first line with Connor McDavid.
Connor Brown will stay on the second line with Leon Draisaitl and Vasili Podkolzin. In his last 5 games, Podkolzin has scored 3 goals and 5 points and is taking on a major role for the Oilers. The bottom six and defence remains the same as the last few games.
The good news on Zach Hyman is that he now joined the Oilers for a full practice last night. Although he's out for tonight's game, he was ruled out late.
With these positive signs, seems like he'll be able to return when the Oilers return home to face the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Hyman sustained his injury against the Ottawa Senators in the second period, and was ruled out immediately after the game. He's now missed 5 games, which may be a frustration for Hyman who only has 3 goals so far this season.
The other Oilers top six forward missing with injury is Victor Arvidsson, and missing really is the correct word. Arvidsson missed a practice and was named a game time decision, but that was 9 games ago. Arvidsson's been placed on the Injured Reserve, and concern is growing that he may be an injury prone player.
The Oilers will have a big test tonight against one of their bitter rivals and a Cup Contending team in Vegas.
Edmonton has begun to put together a string of wins, hoping to extend their current win streak to 4.
