Oilers Leon Draisaitl Chirps Out Reporter During Post Game Scrum
There were a few awkward moments during the post-game scrum of the Edmonton Oilers Anaheim Ducks game when Oilers star Leon Draisaitl chirped out a reporter.
Draisaitl was explaining his take on the game and how the Oilers lost 3-2 where he put some of the blame on his shoulders. He caught a reporter chuckling to his remark in which he called them out stating
The reporters were a little tense during those moments, but Draisaitl lightened up the mood with a laugh of his own and saying
Draisaitl Has A History With Media
This is not the first time that Draisaitl has played with the media with his very stoic responses in somewhat rigid sense of humor which some people have a hard time understanding.
He's also known for showing outbursts especially when the Oilers are losing as he is a passionate man who hates to lose and clearly wants to see his team when as many games as possible.
It's clear, that he is always waited on for his comments as he has never disappointed in things that he has said or done over the past number of years since being drafted.
Oilers Open Road Trip Against Kraken
Since that loss, the Oilers have rattled off two wins in a row and hope to win a third game as their set to take on the Seattle Kraken.
The Oilers have turned their season around and have found the consistency that has been lacking over the past couple of months and are now sitting third overall in the Pacific division.
Game time will be at 10:00 PM eastern on January 4th and will begin their first game of a four-game road trip.
