Nielson began to ask many questions on what the design is of the New Jersey as Gazzola gave tidbits of information of what he saw.
They announced that the jersey is likely white and design but will have a new logo and will do away with the original Oilers emblem.
They also revealed that they will not be doing an older retro type jersey as it will be completely new.
It was also revealed that this jersey will be seen next season and will not be only used for a couple of games and will likely be the third jersey for many.
New jerseys especially third jerseys have become popular with all NHL teams as die-hard fans want to add to their collection which includes their favorite players, the home and away jersey and now these third jerseys.
The Oilers needed a revamp in that department, and it appears it's going to happen.
In my opinion third jerseys are always to be fun and to be eye-catching to the fan base.
In the meantime, the Oilers are facing off against the Utah Hockey Club who have been selling out their jerseys over the past several weeks since they have become available for purchase.
These jerseys will likely become collectors' items as the team will be choosing a new name next season and the process will need to start over.
The Oilers will be also facing off this weekend in the second game of a back-to-back against the Colorado Avalanche as they continue their mini western road trip.
