The Dallas Star believe they got what it takes to be a Stanley Cup contender, as they currently sit on top of the Central Division standings.

The Stars acquire forward Max Domi from the Blackhawks in exchange of a 2023 2nd round draft pick and goaltender Anton Khudobin.
This has to be considered a win for the Stars, Domi is having an excellent seaon with 18 goals, and 31 assists in 60 games with the Blackhawks, he is a low risk as he's a pending ufa this summer who is making just $3 million dollars.
