The Dallas Star believe they got what it takes to be a Stanley Cup contender, as they currently sit on top of the Central Division standings.
However with the NHL's trade deadline one day away there's always room for team's to improve and the Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill did that in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Stars acquire forward Max Domi from the Blackhawks in exchange of a 2023 2nd round draft pick and goaltender Anton Khudobin.
This has to be considered a win for the Stars, Domi is having an excellent seaon with 18 goals, and 31 assists in 60 games with the Blackhawks, he is a low risk as he's a pending ufa this summer who is making just $3 million dollars.
