BREAKING: The Edmonton Oilers Ink a Defensemen to a new deal
The Edmonton Oilers have continued to bolster their roster and their AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors, by signing defenseman Noel Hoefenmayer to a one-year deal.
The contract is worth $840,000, including a $70,000 signing bonus and $775,000 in base salary.
While Hoefenmayer has yet to make his NHL debut outside of pre-season games, he brings potential and defensive depth to the Condors.
After unsuccessful attempts to crack the Toronto Maple Leafs' roster, he has spent time in both the AHL and ECHL. With a low-risk, high-reward contract, Hoefenmayer aims to find his game and contribute to the Condors' competitiveness next season.
