With the NHL Trade deadline day literally right around the corner many Edmonton Oilers fans are wondering what moves Oilers General Manager Ken Holland might make ahead of deadline day.

One player Holland has been trying to unload is forward Jesse Puljujärvi. Oilers Hockey Insider Mark Spector would give us an update saying:

For those waiting to see if Jesse Puljujarvi's name is on waivers, it seems less likely that Yamamoto will play on Sunday, so no movement for now. But when Yamamoto is ready, we're pretty sure Puljujarvi will be submitted to waivers.

The Montreal Canadiens name has popped up the most in Puljujärvi talks as the Habs General Manager Kent Hughes was interested in acquiring Puljujärvi back at the draft in Montreal in July, but the Oilers were asking way too much.

Now The Oilers just want to get rid of Puljujärvi to have more cap space to make a major move to help the Oilers take another Playoff run, stay tuned...
