Connor McDavid Calls Out The NHL And Requests a Rule Be Removed From The Game
As per usual, one player on the Edmonton Oilers had most of the medias eye on him throughout the entire day yesterday, and that is Connor McDavid. Yesterday was McDavids 26th birthday, and he celebrated it with a touchdown 7-1 win over the San Jose Sharks, accumulating two goals and one assist for 3 points with 5 shots on goal.
Yesterday, while all eyes were on #97, he decided to voice his opinion about something strong, and request for the NHL to consider removing it from the game.
Connor McDavid stated he'd like the shootout to be removed from the game of hockey, more so the NHL.
McDavid isn't a fan at all, and suggested a 10-minute 3-on-3 overtime in its place.
Should the NHL consider making McDavid's birthday wish come true?
