Connor McDavid Makes NHL and Edmonton Oilers History

The Edmonton Oilers have come along way after the golden days of the Gretzky era leading the Oilers to 4 Stanley Cups.

Since then the Oilers have fell hard and were mediocre at best. However, the Oilers have drafted well they once again have the best player in the world Connor McDavid.

McDavid has gotten better each year since being drafted back in 2016 and this year was the first player to reach a 100 Points. Then McDavid is the first player to score 50 goals.

McDavid would also break one of Gretzky's records this weekend getting an assist vs the Winnipeg Jets making McDavid score the most powerplay points in Edmonton Oilers history.
