Edmonton Oilers Receive Positive News Update on Evander Kane's Health
It hasn't been a good year for Evander Kane all around as he has missed time with injuries and due to court reasons. Things might start to look up for him though as yesterday he skated with the team again for the first time after suffering a upper-body injury on February 17 against the New York Rangers.
After Kane missed 31 games due to his wrist injury he suffered against Tampa he would come back to play just 10 games before getting another injury. He would miss a couple of games in between due to his bankruptcy trials.
Kane has only appeared in 24 games this season with the Oilers putting up 9 goals and 10 assists while averaging 18:59 of ice time per contest. When Kane comes back he is expected to joining the Oilers top 6 play alongside either McDavid or Draisaitl.
Ken Holland stated that Kane could potentially return Thursday against the Bruins or no later then March 14th when they take on the Ottawa Senators. This would be great for the Oilers as they have been on a roll recently and getting someone back like Kane will only bolster the Oilers offence.
You just hope that he can stay healthy come the playoffs cause he will be an important piece if they wanna make a deep run.
