Edmonton Oilers Fan Comes up With Hilarious Idea on How to Bring Erik Karlsson to Edmonton
The Edmonton Oilers are like many team's unfortunately right now, stuck against the salary cap with little funds left to work with.
Oddly enough the Oilers are rumoured to be trying to acquire one of the top players available. Whether that be Chicago Blackhawks Patrick Kane, Arizona Coyotes Jakob Chychrun, Anaheim Ducks John Klingberg, or San Jose Sharks Erik Karlsson.
Oilers fans and players want some moves and Oilers GM Ken Holland is trying to fill the order. However, one Edmonton Oilers fan came up with one of the most hilarious ideas we've ever seen. This Oilers fan decided he wanted to start a "Go Fund me" to help the Oilers afford Erik Karlsson.
This unfortunately won't work but the Oilers could possibly get another team involved and do a 3 way deal to help cover the needed salary to acquire Karlsson, but honestly if the Go Fund Me worked I'd definitely throw my $5 in.
