Edmonton Oilers' Leon Draisaitl Leaves Practice Bleeding 'Nothing Serious'
Edmonton Oilers' playoff MVP, Leon Draisaitl, left the team's afternoon skate on Friday, just one day before their game 2 matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Draisaitl was hit by either a stick or a puck to the face, although reporters present couldn't determine the exact cause. He was seen bleeding and was taken to the locker room with the Oilers trainer. It's unclear whether it is anything to worry about or a bump in the road.
Losing Draisaitl would be a significant blow to the team, as he has been an integral part of their playoff success thus far. The hope is that this is just a minor setback.
*Update* it was indeed a puck..
