Flames franchise legend has multiple kids trending to be first round draft picks
It's always so cool to follow the junior hockey careers of the children of prominent hockey legends, and seeing how it can pan out like the Tkachuk brothers and their dad Keith Tkachuk. Recently, another hockey legend's kids have been tearing it up in their respective leagues. Jarome Iginla's children are all having very impressive seasons, and it's easy to imagine that it's because of who their dad is.
Tij Iginla has been amazing in the WHL for the Kelowna Rockets, putting up 32 goals and 58 points in 43 games played. He's pulling off highlight reel goals, capped off by his hattrick just two weeks ago. He's expected to go top half of the first round in this upcoming draft, and could be a franchise altering pick for a team.
Joe Iginla finished his last season of U15 hockey with 80 goals and 142 points on the season, and is currently playing for the Edmonton Oil Kings in the WHL and has 2 points in 2 games. He is expected to keep doing very well, and should be a first-round pick in his respective draft.
Their sister Jade Iginla is playing the NCAA for Brown University, and currently also has 19 points in 23 games. She is only 19 years old, and now has the option to go to the PWHL after her time in University.
