Flashback: Shootout Ends in a Violent Fight After Goalie Gets Disrespected
The Federal Province Hockey League has been known as one of the most toughest Leagues to play in because of many of the players in this League have some very short fuses.
However, this might be a first I've seen anyway, during a weekend match between the Carolina Thunderbirds and Watertown Wolfs a shootout would lead into a tussle between the goaltender and shooter.
Dawson Baker of the Thunderbirds would take his shot, after he would take a second shot on the rebound to which Wolfs goaltender Greg Hussey didn't appreciate.
The two would exchange words, none of them good of course before they would throw hands. Who's more in the wrong? In my opinion Baker didn't need to shoot again but Husey could of let it go at the same time.
