However, the game was abruptly halted in the first period due to an incident that occurred in the stands. At the time of the altercation, the University of North Texas had a 1-0 lead.

The participation of a head coach in a physical altercation that occurred in the stands is highly inappropriate, and they must be held responsible for their actions.
