The participation of a head coach in a physical altercation that occurred in the stands is highly inappropriate, and they must be held responsible for their actions. Head coaches are expected to act as role models for their team and the community, and this type of behavior is inconsistent with that expectation. The involvement of additional players from East Texas Baptist University in the brawl only compounds the problem.

Regardless of the sport, it is vital for coaches and players to maintain their composure and exhibit good sportsmanship at all times. Physical altercations have no place in any part of the game, including the stands. It is crucial for all involved parties to recognize the severity of such behavior.
