The Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim met in a tense game on Friday night at the Honda Center. Despite being a game between clubs who have been headed in opposite directions in the standings, this game oddly had the atmosphere of a playoff game. The game was tight for the entire of it, but when the Ducks fell behind the Kings in the third period 6-3, their anger erupted into a fight in front of LA Kings goaltender Phoenix Copley.
And of course, the referees didn't let the goaltenders fight. The broadcasting announcers were just as bad, saying:
