It was a very entertaining Saturday night on Hockey Night in Canada during the game between the Calgary Flames and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The two Canadian teams battled back and forth all night with the Leafs taking this one in a thrilling 5-4 overtime goal by the hottest player in the NHL, Leafs Mitch Marner on the power play to continue his 22 game point streak.

However this one wasn't without controversy.

Marner's powerplay goal was the Leafs 3rd powerplay goal of the game, on their 6th powerplay handed to them, and that didn't sit well with Flames Head Coach Darryl Sutter who's doesn't speak his mind often, but when he does it's with merit.

During the post game press conference Sutter had some very critical comments about the officiating and their favouritism towards the Maple Leafs.

"That's one thing I learned a long time ago when you're in Chicago all those years and you come into Toronto, you know what goes on. I won't say nothing more."

Clearly hinting at the refs play an entirely different game in Toronto, and favourite the Leafs heavily as the NHL's headquarters are based in Toronto.
