Jacob Trouba Throws Another Dangerous Flying Elbow - Enough is Enough
Jacob Trouba is establishing himself as a dirty player throughout the NHL. He does not fall under the category of a ''enforcer/goon'', he simply throws dirty dangerous hits every other game.
He's now made the headlines once again for a dirty blow to a Montreal Canadien.
Trouba obviously leads with his elbow in an effort to knock Armia to the ice, even if the hit did not connect. I understand that he might not have intended to throw the elbow and that it might have been a normal response to realizing he was farther away from Armia than he had anticipated, but according to the rules, an elbow attempt of that nature should result in a two-minute minor.
His hits aren't all modest like this one. Watch the vicious blow he delivered to Blackhawks player Andreas Athanasiou last month.
