It's a hilarious visual to see the legendary goalie playing with a cane, and great to see him still have the humour to engage in little jokes like this as such a veteran in the league. It's a testament to the great person Marc-Andre Fleury is.
This season however, his play has taken a turn for the worse. In 13 games this season, Fleury has a 6-5-2 record, posting a 3.16 GAA and .892 save percentage. Despite the down season, if the Minnesota Wild find themselves out of a playoff spot near the trade deadline, the team will likely look to see if there's suitors in a trade. Currently, a few contending teams are in search of a goaltender, and Fleury brings a vast amount of talent and experience in the crease. Owed just $3.5M for the rest of this season, Fleury's contract is cheap enough to add flexibility to a potential trade.
