Mark Spector, Oilers reporter, breaks Blackhawks fans' hope with this one report
Mark Spector, a well-known reporter among the Edmonton Oilers fanbase, has been a controversial figure due to his sometimes contentious reporting.
In this recent instance, however, Spector has upset the Oilers fanbase by making derogatory comments about McDavid and engaging in trolling behavior.
Now, he's accepting another fan base
"Word is Toews won't play next season. When his agency sent out its list of pending free agents, we are told his name was not even on the list."
Today, Spector announced that former Chicago Blackhawks Captain Jonathan Toews will retire.
He shared the news by reporting that the agency representing Toews had released a list of available free agents - surprisingly, Toews was not on that list.
Toews had previously been linked to the Edmonton Oilers as a potential depth option before free agency.
Unfortunately, it seems that his career is coming to an end, and now another fanbase will have a chance to dislike Spector due to his controversial reporting.
