Report: People Think Connor McDavid Isn't The Best Athlete In The World
Controversy struck on social media a couple weeks ago when an Instagram page @allsportsculture, posted a graphic showing who the «Top 10 Athletes» currently are in the whole world.
Many people were confused either by the order of the athletes, why certain athletes were there at all, or who some of them even were.
The most surprising and common responses to the top 10 listing were about Connor McDavid, either why he didn't deserve to be 1st or who he even was. Which for one just shows how bad Commissioner Gary Bettman is at marketing the NHL, especially failing to utilizing such an amazing talent in Connor McDavid.
Every list out of the 10 from All Sports Culture members had Connor McDavid ranked No. 1 in the world, which a lot of people didn't agree � over 3,000 comments on the post and a large portion talking about Connor McDavid.
It is absolutely mind blowing how little people know about Connor McDavid and his incredible skills, everyone knows Wayne Gretzky and remembers him as the great one even if you didn't watch hockey. The market and media has changed drastically and the NHL's old commissioner can't keep up unfortunately.
