McDavid issues statement on the Heritage Classic Game
This year's NHL Heritage Classic will feature the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames in a battle that takes place on October 29th, 2023.
There will be a Heritage Classic game taking place at Commonwealth Stadium, which was the site of the first Heritage Classic game in 2003.
"To play on this field, on this rink, in this big venue will be very fun."

| #LetsGoOilers While McDavid and Steve Mayer, who is the NHL's EVP & Chief Content Officer, were in Commonwealth Stadium to discuss the game, amongst other things, they filmed an interview with them to discuss the game and a number of other things.
This is Connor's 2nd Heritage Classic game, and it will also mark the 20th anniversary of the original game.
For him, it is going to be an exciting and memorable experience, both for himself and for everyone who is a part of it.
