NHL's Deputy Commissioner Hints at 2 Surprising Expansion Cities Coming to The NHL
Last week Hockey Insider Kevin Weekes broke the news that the NHL was considering expansion and would reveal that two teams and Cities have shown interest, Houston, and the return of the Atlanta Thrashers.
Expansion teams have been doing really well looking at the success that the Vegas Golden Knights and Seattle Kraken have been since joining the League.
So far Gary Bettman has not spoken about the possibility of two new expansion teams, but deputy commissioner Billy Daly has.
"It's not a priority right now, but it's true that Houston and Atlanta have shown interest."

This doesn't mean there won't be an expansion, just not at the moment but that could change at anytime and we could be hearing in the off-season the NHL has approved expansion so stay tuned..
